To ensure you receive the best service possible when making your decision on who to choose for window tinting, consider these questions to ask a tint shop.

Do you offer a warranty on your window tinting?
Tidal wave offers a lifetime warranty that covers air bubbles, peeling, wrinkles, cracking, fading and splotching.

Does that mean my film will last a lifetime ?
"Lifetime" literally means as long as you own your car. Realistically though, there isn't a window film made that will last a lifetime. We designed this warranty with the idea that a customer would keep their vehicles 5-7 years. Should you keep your vehicle 8, 10 or 20 years, as long as you have your warranty card, it will be replaced for free.

3. I have little dots at the top of my back window, can you tint over them?
Dot matrix at the top of a back window is common and a common problem for tinters. Some tint shops choose to cut the film short, so as not to cover, or tint over the Matrix. Although there's no guarantee, in many cases matrix can be prepped and made to look uniform. However, on some vehicles, there is nothing that can be done with the matrix. Should a customer come in with one of these vehicles we would discuss your installation options.
4. Will rolling my windows up and down scratch my tint?
Some vehicles require a "mole skin" gasket kit to alleviate this problem. Certain Mustangs, Hondas, Acuras, and Mercedes, and others, have this problem. It's caused by rubber gaskets, instead of felt in the door against the glass. The "mole skin" is installed over this gasket to stop that problem. This solution requires additional cost as well as time added to the install. If installed, we do apply a "scratch warranty", covering any vertical scratches.

5. Why should I choose Tidal Wave Graphics to install my tint?
There are many shops to choose from. Some offer high quality film with excellent installers, some offer low grade film with low experience installers, or speedy "production line" type tinting. Maybe you want a hurry-up job, if that's the case, we aren't for you. Most cars take about an hour and a half up to 2 hours. Do you feel comfortable handing over your keys? Whether you own a chevette or a corvette, you have made a decision to hand over your car to someone you don't know. You need to ask yourself if you are comfortable with that choice.
