Golden Retriever - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Cody

CODY is an 5-year-old neutered male. He is the SWEETEST Golden his foster mom has ever met (and she has met some sweet ones!). The only time he barks is when he is closed outside the screen porch. He is visually impaired in the right eye and weak in the rear end. He bumps into things and has taken a tumble down the stairs on more than one occasion. What has happened is a remarkable acclimation to his surroundings. Cody acclimates well to change. He is better in a multi-dog household -- he has used his 2 Golden foster siblings as a guide and a beacon. He likes stuffed toys and is quite playful. Most of the time however, he sits by his foster mom and puts his head in her lap. (Again, the sweetest dog ever.) We would like Cody to have a house with a fenced rear yard, he likes to investigate. He's not good for a home with joggers or people that want to speed walk with him. He is the perfect companion for an older couple or an empty-nester situation, or someone that is looking for a laid back forever friend. Cody is in foster care in the Richmond area.
