Description
8-9 year-old spayed female Sequoia is a very special girl in need of a very special owner! She was turned in after being left in an empty house where someone came by to feed her only about once a week. She was bone thin and may have recently had puppies. Originally she was having clusterseizures 2-3 times a week. We are happy to report that Sequoia has been seizure free for over a year! She does require lab work and maintenance visits at the vet to keep her stable. Despite having limited vision she can acclimate to new surroundings. She gets along with other dogs and cats. The other dog/s in the home would need to be tolerant in the beginning stages because Sequoia may walk right into them or step on them! She is low energy preferring her house and her yard over walks in the neighborhood due to both her limited vision and wariness of strangers. Sequoia is very affectionate with her foster family (including a teenager), but needs time to warm up to those she doesnt know well. She has a healthy appetite, is housebroken, and can be left alone for long periods of time without a problem. This beautiful light colored girl likes to ride in the car and take long naps.
