Pekingese - Small - Young - Female - Dog - Chloe
Description
"Chloe came into rescue on February 22, 2009. This poor little girl was 48 hours from potentially dying, according to the doctor at the emergency vet clinic where she went as soon as we took possession of her. She was in critical condition, but she has come a long way. She loves to be carried, cuddled and give kisses. She will wash your face with her little tongue if you do not feel like washing it yourself. Want to rub her belly? No problem. She automatically rolls over on her back as you approach her or talk to her just so you may have full access to her little belly. She has a very good appetite and eats everything that is not nailed down like a little piranha. Chloe has been spayed and had bi-lateral inguinal hernia surgery which was very successful. She and her foster sister Tess, play like two puppies. After Chloe tires Tess out (Tess is much older), she then goes and plays with her brother, Oreo, a 20 pounder. Chloe is full of energy, joy, spunk, love, and personality. She even tries to get Grandpa Peyton (another brother- 12 years old) to play. Chloe still has ocassional mild 'seizures' when she over exhausts herself or when she get too hot. They are less and less frequent now that her foster mom has become aware of them and keeps her from getting over exhausted or excited. She does love her walks, though. She also romps outside running circles around the other three Pekes. This little girl loves life and judging from how well she has recovered from her original condition, she is a real fighter. The sparkle in this little girls eye shows little evidence of her being so close to death when she arrived. She is a real trooper and will make someone a wonderful companion providing all the love you may want from her. Chloe's adoption fee is $300.00. +++++ If you can offer this Pekingese a forever home, please contact Linda at: haveninhim@aol.com or brev498@aol.ccom An application, home check and vet check are required.
