Maize (we are calling her Daisy as well) is a sweetheart of a dog. She was treated for heartworm in 2006, and left with a permanent cough from the damage done before she was treated. She is still a happy little girl, who loves to walk around the back yard and find a spot of sunshine to lie down in and call her very own. Maize is about 10-12 years old. She was an owner surrender along with Darla. Her owner moved into a condo with his girlfriend, not realizing that Maize and Darla would not be allowed there. Maize is an older girl. She loves to snuggle, she just wants to be with her people. She LOVES going for walks. She has a lot of spunk for a senior girl. She zooms around the house greeting her foster mom when she comes home at the end of the day. Maize has laid claim to a papa san chair as her favorite snoozing spot, but never passes up the opportunity to lie down in a full laundry basket either. Maize is part of our senior adoption program, and is just waiting for her forever home.
