Here is a 1979 VW Volkswagon Dasher Wagon in running condition for sale. It was always seen as a great economy car with 30+ MPG but now it is also a great collectible. It had it's engine replaced in approx. 1991 just shortly before it's original owner passed away and it has been driven very lightly since then. It spent a couple of years in a shop getting some minor work done on it, mostly it was just stored there and was only recently retrieved. It currently has antique plates on it and can be driven. It needs some cleaning up and the small repairs that older cars usually need but it will make a great display /collector car. These are getting to be very rare since VW only built this model for a couple of years. This is definitely a great project car and will increase in value when completely restored. It has recently had plugs replaced and several other items replaced and repaired and is now running quite well. It has just had the battery replaced and the alternator rebuilt.
